General Situation Tropical storm DOKSURI is moving west-northwest at speed of 30 km/hr. It is forecast to move through to Tokin Bay and make landfall over Hanoi, upper Vietnam by 15 September. The Northeast and the North of Thailand will get more rain with torrential downpour during 15-17 September. People should stay tuned for the weather update.

The southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and Thailand begins strong. Isolated heavy rain will be likely in the South and the East while the wind waves in the Andaman Sea becomes moderate about 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in

Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Kalalin, Mukdahan, Amnart Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, and Singburi.

Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong,

Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly

in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-32 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.
