General Situation The active low-pressure over the upper part of Bengal Bay affects the North widespread rain. Isolated downpours with gusty winds still come across in the westside of North while rain condition eases in the Northeast.

The strong southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf induces abundant rain to the Central, the East and the South where isolated heavy rain are still expected. The strong winds in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf leads to waves 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore lasting 18 September.

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers. Isolated heavy rain in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun,

Lampang, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok ,Kamphaeng Phet and Tak

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani,

Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi,

Uthai Thani, Chai Nat and Nakhon Sawan.

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phattalung and Songkhla.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong and Phangnga.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.

From Phangnga northward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

From Phuket southward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Metropolitan Fairly widespread thundershowers.
