General Situation The active monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast leading to abundant rains likely. Isolated heavy downpour also affects the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea with rainfall remaining in the South.
The areas of moderate high pressure over middle China is forecast to extends to southern China and upper Vietnam today (2 October). It will further cover upper Laos tomorrow. For the first period, abundant rain will affects the North and the Northeast.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in Nakhon Sawan,
Uthai Thani, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat.
