General Situation The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the easterly winds prevail with the humidity from the South China Sea across the East, and the lower Central where rain spells will be likely including Bangkok and its vicinity. The North and the Northeast remains cool with fog in the morning. The low-pressure cell over Sumatra, and the northeast monsoon over the Gulf induce outbreaks of rain spell with heavy downpour in the lower parts of the South. People in the lower South should beware of possible flash flood.
Another moderate high pressure from China will cover upper Thailand during 18-21 November. Thundershowers chance will occur for the first period of pressure domination following with cooler spell dropping by 2-4 C. During that period, the northeast monsoon across the Gulf will intensify with more rain and stronger wind waves of 2 meters high in the South.
