General Situation The low-pressure system overs the Malaysia and the lower South of Thailand is moving to the Andaman Sea. Outbreaks of continuous rain are likely with torrential rain much of the lower South. Residents should beware of possible flash flood and inshore surge. The strong wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in both seas of the South. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore. In the upper country, there remains cool spell with morning fog. People stay safe, keep healthy and drive vehicle carefully.

Another high-pressure system from China covers the upper Vietnam and Laos and it will extend to the Northeast of Thailand this morning. Cool with strong wind and temperature will decrease by 2-4 C in the area. All those will then cover the North, the Central including and its vicinity, and the East.

Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated torrential rain

in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Minimum temperature 20-23 C. Maximum temperature 26-31 C.

Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.

Metropolitan Cloudy with isolated slight rain.
