General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand, and the low-pressure cell covers the coast of Malaysia. Outbreaks of continuous rain remains in the South and isolated heavy rain while rough sea 2-3 meters are forecast for both the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. Residents should beware of possible flash flood and inshore surge. Inundation areas keep on watch and preparation. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore. Besides, the North, the Northeast and the Central have cool to cold spell with strong winds.
Another rather high pressure system over southern China is forecast to cover upper Thailand tomorrow. This will force cool to cold spells dropping by 2-3 C and strong winds.
