General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand with outbreaks of continuous rain remaining in the South and isolated heavy rain. Rough sea 2-3 meters are forecast for both the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. Residents should beware of possible flash flood and inshore surge. Inundation areas keep on watch and preparation. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore. Bedsides, the North, the Northeast and the Central have cool to cold spell with strong winds.
Another rather strong high-pressure system covers the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea with cool to cold spells dropping by 1-2 C and strong winds.
