Weather Forecast During 6-8 Dec, the high pressure over upper Thailand leads to decreasing temperature and strong winds. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in southern provinces in Chumpon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phattahalung and Songkhla. The strong wind waves are likely 2-3 metres high in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea. During 9-12 Dec, another high pressure from China will extend to the upper country with a rise in temperature by 2-4 C and strong wind. The rather strong northeast monsoon remains across the Gulf of Thailand and the South. Abundant rain with isolated heavy downpours are still likely in the South. The moderated wind waves is forecast 2 meters high in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea.

People in the South should beware of possible flashflood and heavy rains. All ships should proceed with caution. Small boats keep ashore.
