The strong high-pressure covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool to cold spells with strong winds are likely over the upper country including Bangkok and its vicinity. The temperature decreases by 2-4 C. Very cold weather is forecast for the mountaintops. People in the areas should keep healthy due to the changeable weather conditions.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf with more rain and isolated heavy rain expected in the South. The wind waves in the Gulf will get stronger 2-3 meters high in the lower portion. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
