General Situation
The strong high-pressure over Thailand begins weak with an increase in temperature likely. There remains cool to cold spells with strong winds. The north still sees isolated frost on mountaintops. People should stay safe and keep healthy. In the south, light rain with cool spells are likely. Rough sea 2-4 meters high continues as the strong northeast monsoon covers the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
During 22-24 December, KAITAK will decline as a tropical depression moving near Malaysia and the lower South of Thailand. There remains an increase of rainfall volume with torrential downpour that may cause possible flash flood. The lower Gulf is still caution with rough sea.
