General Situation The high-pressure over Thailand leads to outbreaks of continuous cold spells with isolated fog over the upper country. A slight change in temperature will be likely while very cold spells are seen on mountaintops. The weakening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf. Isolated heavy rain with wind waves about 2 meter high are forecast in the South. People should stay safe and keep healthy. All ships are still cautious.
During 25-26 December, Typhoon TEMBIN over the middle of South China Sea is moving west at a speed of 26 km/hr to the lower South China Sea and southern Vietnam. The storm is expected to downgrade to a tropical storm and a depression, respectively, before arriving in Thailand’s Gulf. By the time of 26-28 December, it will be forecast to move in the Gulf and the South. More rains are likely over upper Thailand and heavy rain much of the south. People should beware of possible flash flood while the Gulf is still caution with rough sea 2-4 meters high.

Southern Part (West Coast) Partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
