Weather Forecast During 26-29 Dec, another moderate high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand cause cool to cold with drop in temperature 1-3 C. During 30-31 Dec, another strong high pressure area from China will extended to upper Thailand cause still cool to cold with drop in temperature 2-4?C. The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South of Thailand causes more rain and isolated heavy rains in the South. The strong wind waves 2-4 meters high is likely in the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period.
Typhoon “TEMBIN” over the middle of South China Sea. It will move to southern Vietnam during 25-26 December. This storm is expected to downgrade to a tropical storm, a tropical depression, and active low respectively, before moving to the Gulf and the south of Thailand during 26-28 December. More rains are likely over upper Thailand with heavy rain in some places over the south.
Warning During 26-28 Dec, People in the South should beware of severe condition. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats should keep ashore. People in the South (east coast) should beware of inshore surge throughout the period.
