General Situation The moderate high-pressure over upper Thailand leads to outbreaks of continuous cold spells. The westerly trough from Myanmar will move to the upper North during 27-28 December with rain spells over the upper country.
Remnant rain reduced today in most parts of the upper country, except for the North. People should stay safe, keep healthy and beware of crops damage.
The strong northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand becomes weaker with isolated heavy rain over provinces of Nakhon Si Thammrat, Songkhal, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. These heavy conditions are still cautious. The strong winds force waves up to 2-3 meters high in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
