During 18 – 19 Jan, the weak high pressure covers upper Vietnam and the South China Sea. Morning cool and fog with thick patch in some places are likely upper Thailand. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf is weakening. Isolated rain is expected in the south. During 20 – 24 Jan, the high pressure will move to the South China Sea cause the easterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea to covers upper Thailand. Isolated thundershowers are expected in the upper Thailand including Bangkok and its vicinity while more rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in the South.
Warning
During 18-19 Jan 2018, all transports should take extra caution in areas of fog. During 20-24 Jan 2018, the farmers in the lower northeastern, eastern and the lower central should be careful of the damage that may occur to agricultural produce.
