General Situation
The high-pressure system covers upper Vietnam and the South China Sea. Morning cool and fog are likely in the North, the Northeast, the East and the Central with isolated thick patches. The easterly winds bring moisture from the Gulf to the south of Thailand and cause more rains with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. During 20-21 Jan, the high pressure will move to the South China Sea and causes the southeasterly winds to bring the moisture prevailing over the upper country. Isolated rains are expected in upper Thailand including Bangkok and its vicinity. More rain with isolated heavy rains are forecast in the South.
