During 22 – 23 Jan, the weasterly winds from Myanma moves across tne upper North and the upper Northeast while the weak high pressure covers upper Thailand. Morning fog and isolated thick patches with light rain are likely in the upper country while cool to cold weather spells in the upper North and the upper Northeast. During 24-28 Jan, the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea to cover upper Thailand and the South. Isolated thundershowers are expected in the Norht, lower Northeast, the lower Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity. Scattered thundershowers are likely in the South throughout the period with isolated heavy rain during 22-24 Jan.

During 22-23 Jan, transports should take extra caution in areas of fog. During 24-28 Jan, farmers in the lower northeastern, eastern and the lower central should be careful of the damage that may occur to agricultural produce.
