General Situation
The moisture covers the lower North, the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the South. The westerly winds at high level of upper air still prevails across the upper North. Morning fog with isolated thick patches will be likely in the upper country. Cool with isolated frost remains in the North while isolated thundershowers are forecast for the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the South. Keep healthy and watch for crop’s failure.
During 29 January to 4 February, another rather strong high pressure system from Chin will cover upper Thailand with variable weather conditions. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely with dropping in temperature by 6-8 C and stronger winds, affecting the Northeast and then the rest regions. The northeast will get stronger over the Gulf forcing more rain and isolated heavy downpours in the Gulf. The wind waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea have 2-3 meters high.
