During 26-28 Jan, the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to cover Thailand. Isolated thundershowers are expected over upper Thailand including Bangkok and its vicinity while morning fog with isolated heavy rain expected over the South. During 29 Jan – 1 Feb, another strong high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand. Variable weather is expected over upper Thailand while thundershowers will be likely for a few days of this period after that cold to cool with strong windy, following decrease in temperature by 6-8 C, affecting the Northeast first and the rest regions. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will strenghed which cause the strong wind waves 2-3 merters are likely in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea.
Warning
During 26-30 Jan, farmers in the lower north, the lower northeastern, the eastern and the lower central should be careful of the damage that may occur to agricultural produce. During 31 Jan – 1 Feb, people in the upper country should beware of cold weather. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats should keep ashore.
Northern Part During 26-30 Jan, cool to cold and isolated thundershowers mostly in the lower part.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers throughout the period with isolated heavy rains mostly in lower portion.

During 31 Jan – 1 Feb, northeasterly wind 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
