General Situation The strong high-pressure system from China covers upper Vietnam. It is expected to cover the Northeast of Thailand by today (29 January), with variable weather conditions. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely with dropping in temperature by 6-8 C and strong winds, affecting the Northeast first and then the rest regions.
The northeast monsoon will get stronger over the Gulf forcing more rain and isolated heavy downpours in the Gulf. The wind waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea have 2-3 meters high during 31 January to 4 February.
