During 12-14 Feb, the rather strong high pressure from China covers upper Thailand causes cool to cold with strong winds, a decrease in temperature by 3-5C over the upper country. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. The moderate wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. During 15-18 Feb, the high pressure over Thailand is weakening. Cool to cold is likely in the North and the Northeast, rising in temperature by 3-5 C with morning fog and thick patches in some place.
Tropical storm “ SANBA” over Pacific Ocean will move past the lower of Philippine to the middle South China Sea during 14-15 Feb. It is expected to move across southern of Vietnam during 16-17 Feb and then downgrade.
