General Situation
The southeasterly winds prevails over the Gulf of Thailand with the humidity from the South China Sea. Outbreaks of thundershower spells will be forecast in some areas of the country. Day hot and thundershowers are possible for the upper country, except for the North with cool to cold spell remaining in the morning whereas the south gets consistent rain.
During 21-24 February, the moderate high pressure from China will cover upper Thailand and the northeast monsoon will get stronger. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely in the first few days before temperature decreases by 2-4 C. This affects the Northeast for the first part then the rest regions. The South will get more rain with heavy downpour in some areas while the Gulf and the Andaman Sea have 2 meters of waves.
