General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand while the southeasterly winds prevail with the humidity from the South China Sea across the Northeast and the East. Hot weather is likely over the upper country, and outbreaks of thundershowers is forecast in the North and the Northeast, the East and the South.
During 20-23 March, another high pressure from China will cover upper Thailand colliding with hot air over the area. Outbreaks of summer storms, together with thundershowers, gusty winds, thunderbolt and hail, will be possible over the Northeast and the East by 20 March. The North and the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity will be affected by these severe conditions in the later day (21 March). People should keep off unsecured buildings and outdoor places while farmers beware of crop damage.
