During 5 - 7 April, the strong high pressure areas from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the westerly trough moved through the upper Thailand. Summer Thunderstorm and gusty winds are forecast in upper Thailand. During 8-10 April, The easterly wind prevail over the South and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthen cause more rain in the South. The strong wind waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Gulf of Thailand. The strong high pressure areas stills cover upper Thailand cause less rain over upper Thailand.
Warning
During 5 – 7 April, people over upper Thailand should beware of thunderstorm, lightning, gusty wind, heavy rain and hails. Farmers should watch for crops damage. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore during 7 - 10 April.
