General Situation The heat low and the southwesterly winds covers upper Thailand while the weak easterly winds prevail over the Gulf.
Hot with a rise in temperature is likely in the upper country. Outbreaks of isolated thundershowers will be forecast for the North, the Central and the East.
During 15-18 April, another high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand colliding with hot air to produce summer storms. Outbreaks of thundershowers, thunderbolt, gusty winds and hails are also forecast for the Northeast and the East on 15 April. The rest regions will take effect later days. People should keep off unsecured building and outdoor and farmers beware of crop damage. During 17-19 April, the easterly winds will intensify with more rain in the South and moderate wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. The Gulf’s waves are about 2 meters high.
