During 30 Apr –2 May, the active low pressure cell cover in the Andaman Sea will move to Gulf of Martaban, Myanmar while the southerly and the southeasterly wind prevails over the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. Outbreaks of thundershowers with islated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. The moderates wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman sea. During 3-6 May, another high pressure area from China will extend to Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while the westerly trough from Myanmar is moving through the North affect to still thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Less rain is likely in the South.

During 30 Apr – 5 May, people over Thailand should beware heavy rain. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution during 30 Apr –2 May.
