During 3-6 May, another high pressure area from China will extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea and cause the stronger easterly winds while the westerly trough is moving through the North affecting thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. During 7-9 May, the high pressure and the easterly winds will weaken and cause less rain over the upper country. The southwesterly winds prevail over the South and cause more rain with isolated heavy rains in the areas.
