General Situation Tropical storm “EWINIAR” over the upper South China Sea was centered the north of Hainan island, China. It is moving north slowly, with maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr. It will move to the south of Guangdong, China by today (7 June). For traveler to Vietnam and Hainan Island, China should check the weather before traveling.
The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand, the upper Laos and the upper Vietnam. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand cause more rain and isolated heavy in the North, the Northeast, the central and the East. People should beware of heavy rain.
The moderate wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas. All ships should proceed with cautions.
