During 7-10 June, the southwest monsoon prevailing over Thailand and the Andaman sea will intensify. More rain is likely in Thailand with isolated heavy rain. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. Wave height 2-3 meters are likely in the Andaman Sea. During 11-12 June, the southwest monsoon will weaken. Less rain is likely in Thailand while thundershower and isolated heavy rain remains in the North, the Northeast and the East. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf becomes weaken.
The tropical depression over the South China Sea becomes the tropical storm “EWINIAR”. It is expected to make landfall over Guangdong, China during 7-9 June. This storm has no effect on Thailand.
Warning
People in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should be procedure with caution and small boat in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
