During 10 – 11 Jul, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, the upper North and Laos cause more rain with isolated heavy rain in the North and the Northeast. During 12 – 16 Jul, the monsoon trough move lies across the North and the upper Northeast cause abundance rain with isolated heavy rain in the North and the Northeast.
The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman sea, the South and the upper Gulf of Thailand throughout the period. Abundance rain with isolated heavy rain are likely in the East and the South. The strong wind and waves are expected in the Andaman Sea 2-4 meters and the upper Gulf of Thailand 2-3 meters.
Typhoon “Maria” over Pacific Ocean is expected to move to Taiwan and western China during 10-12 July. This storm has no effect on Thailand. Travelers should check the weather forecast before departure.

During 10 – 16 Jul, people should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rainfall. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
