General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam to the low pressure cell over Tonkin Bay, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of abundant rain are forecast the country. Isolated heavy rain is forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the upper South. People should beware of the severe conditions. Rough sea in the Andaman Sea is forecast 2-3 meters high of waves while the upper Gulf about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat in the Andaman Sea keep ashore. Residents along the coast of the East and the South should beware of inshore surge lasting 15 July.
