General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, the upper North of Thailand, and Laos to the active low pressure cell over Tonkin Bay, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of abundant rain are forecast the upper country. Isolated heavy rain is forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. People should beware of the severe conditions.
Rough sea in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf is forecast 2-3 meters high of waves. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat in the Andaman Sea keep ashore. Residents along the coast of the East and the South should beware of inshore surge lasting 19 July.
