General Situation Tropical storm “SON-TINH” makes landfall over Vinh, Vietnam. It is moving west with wind speed of 20 km/hr. with maximum sustained wind about 70 km/hr. It is expected downgraded to the tropical depression and the active low pressure over Laos and the upper Northeast of Thailand on today (19 July). It will have an effect isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the North and the Northeast. People should beware of severe weather conditions and stay tuned for the weather forecast.
The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Outbreaks of isolated very heavy rain is also forecast for the East and the South. People should beware of the severe conditions.
The stronger wind waves will be likely 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boat keep ashore. Residents along the coast of the East and the western South should beware of inshore surge lasting 22 July.

Amnat Charoen, Yasothon, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
