The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam throughout the period while the active low pressure will move to the Gulf of Tokin during 25-26 Jul. Thundershower with isolated heavy rain are likely in the North and the Northeast throughout the period while the East and the South will have isolated heavy rain during 25-26 Jul.
During 20-21 and 25-26 Jul, the strong southwest monsoon will prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf. The strong wind and wave are likely 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas. During 22-24 Jul, the southwest monsoon will weaken and cause the wind and waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.

People should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rainfall. During 20-21 and 25-26 Jul, all ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
