During 1–4 Aug, the low pressure covers over Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand becomes weaker. Less rain with isolated heavy rain are expected in Thailand while thundershowers with isolated heavy rain remains in the North and the Northeat. The moderate wind and wave are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf.
During 5-6 Aug, the monsoon trough will lie across upper Thailand while the southwest monsoon will be stronger. More rain with isolated heavy rain are forecast for Thailand. The strong wind and waves are expedted 2-3 meters over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.

During 5-6 Aug, people over Thailand should beware of severe conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
