Weather Forecast: During 3–4 Aug, the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Less rain with isolated heavy rain are expected in Thailand while continuous rain remains in the North, the Northeast and the East. The moderate wind and wave are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. During 5-9 Aug, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast while the southwest monsoon will be stronger. More rain with isolated heavy rain are forecast for Thailand. The strong wind and waves are expedted 2-4 meters over the Andaman Sea and 2-3 meters over the upper Gulf.

Phuket northwards: Southwesterly wind 20-45 km/hr.
Wave height 2-4 meters and above 4 meters in thundershowers areas.
Krabi southwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
