General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast, and the stronger southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain is forecast for the country while isolated heavy downpours are likely over the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Flash floods are possible for the risk areas.
The strong wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and about 2 meters high in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore lasting 9 August.
