During 10-15 Aug , the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar, the upper North and the upper Vietnam while the strong southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Persist rain is forecast for Thailand and isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South.
The strong wind and waves are expedted 2-3 meters over the Andaman Sea and about 2 meters over the upper Gulf, above 3 meters in thundershowers areas throughout the period.

People over Thailand should beware of severe conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore throughout the period.

Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and 1- 2 meters off shore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers throughout the period with isolated heavy rain during 9, 12-14 Aug.
Phuket northwards: Southwesterly wind 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers areas.
Krabi southwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
