General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rain is forecasts for the Northeast, the East and the South. Flash floods are possible for the risk areas. People should beware of the severe condition. The rough sea is likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea but above 3 meters high in thundershower areas, and about 2 meters high in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore lasting 24 August.
