General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain with isolated heavy rain are forecast for the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the Southwest. Flash floods are possible for the risk areas, and people in these areas should beware of the severe condition. The rough sea is likely about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea but above 2 meters high in thundershower areas, and 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution.
The tropical depression over the central of Taiwan is almost stationary with no effect on Thailand. Passengers should check the forecast before departure. Tropical storm “SOULIK” is moving to the South of Korea while tropical storm “CIMARON” is moving to the Central of Japan. Passengers should check the weather forecast before departure.
