During 27-30 Aug, the moderate monsoon trough will lift across Myanmar, upper Laos and upper Vietnam to the low pressure over the Gulf of Tonkin while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over Thailand. During 31 Aug - 2 Sep, the monsoon trough remain over the areas while the southwest monsoon becomes weak. Continuous is rainfall will be likely over the country with isolated heavy rain. The moderate wind and waves over the Andaman Sea is likely about 2 meters high and 1- 2 meters high in the upper Gulf throughout the period.
