Thailand Daily Weather Forecast

Distribution On September 6, 2018

General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Vietnam while the weak southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. The reduction of rainfall will be likely over the country, but there remains some heavy rain expected over the east and the south (west coast). People should beware of the severe rain.

During 7-10 September, the high-pressure area from China will extend to Laos and upper Vietnam. The monsoon trough will slide down across the North and the Northeast while the moderate southwest monsoon remains. This supports for the same condition of rain over above areas. A sudden flood and an overflow of water are possible. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution.
