During 11 - 12 Sep, the high pressure areas from China covering Laos and Vietnam will weaken and cause the monsoon trough will shift up to lie across Myanmar, the upper North, Laos and the upper Northeast. The southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Less rain is likely over Thailand while isolated heavy rain remains in the upper North and the upper Northeast. During 13 - 16 Sep, the monsoon trough will move down to lie across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast while the southwest monsoon will strengthen. More rain and isolated heavy rain are forecast for Thailand. The wind and wave are likely abouth 2 meters and above 2 meters.
During 13-14 Sep, the tropical depression over the South China Sea will move to Hainan, China. During 15-17 Sep, typhoon MUNNGKHUT will move to the South China Sea. It is expected to move to the east of south China, Hainan and Vietnam, respectively. More rain and isolated heavy rain are forecast for the Northeast of Thailand.
