General Situation The monsoon trough has moved over Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam while the southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea, and the Gulf of Thailand. Continuous rain and isolated heavy downpour will be likely over the upper North and the Northeast. For other regions, the rainfall is reduced.
Tropical storm \"BARIJAT\" in the upper South China Sea moves west to Hainan, China during 13-14 September. This will cause the strength of the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, and the Gulf of Thailand with increasing rain and isolated heavy downpour likely over the country. The wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will intensify with the wave about 2 meters high.
