General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North. The Central and the lower part of Northeast. This will cause the strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy downpour will be likely over the North, the lower part of Northeast, the Central and the East. For other regions, the rainfall is reduced.

The strong wind-waves in the Andaman Sea is likely 2-3 meters high and the upper Gulf about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore until 19 September.

Typhoon MANGKHUT in the Pacific Ocean or eastward of Philippines. It will move through Luzon of the Philippines into the upper South China Sea during 14-15 September. After that it will move through Hainan island, China into the upper Vietnam and southern China during 16-18 September.
