During 18 - 19 Sep, the active low pressure covers the Bay of Bengal while the strong southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain are forecast for the western portion of Thailand.. The strong wind and wave are likely 2-4 meters in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. During 20 - 24 Sep, the monsoon trough will lie across the lower North, the Central and the East while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Thundershowers with isolated heavy rain remain over the country while less rain is likely over the upper North and the Northeast. The moderate wind and waves are expected about 2 meters over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.
