Thailand Daily Weather Forecast

Distribution On November 21, 2018

General Situation The active low-pressure cell covers the middle South and is expected to move pass through the Andaman Sea by today

(21 November). In addition, the stronger northeasterly wind across the Gulf of Thailand bring about isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the areas. People should beware of severe conditions. The moderate wind waves are likely about 2 meters high in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution lasting 22 November. A reduction of rainfalls is forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions due to the weak high-pressure system over the North, the upper Northeast and the South China Sea.

During 22-25 November, another high pressure system will extend to the upper half of the country and the South China Sea. Isolated thundershowers with a cool spell and strong winds will be likely over the areas. A decrease in temperature by 2-4 C will be forecast for the North and the Northeast while in the Central Plains including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East the temperatures decrease by 1-3 C.

In addition, the northeast monsoon will intensify with outbreaks of continuous rainfall over the South and moderate wind waves of both seas.
