General Situation The northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand with steady thundershowers and isolated heavy rain over the lower South while the southeasterly winds prevails across the North. Morning fog with isolated thick patches are likely over the area. The North and the Northeast remains cool in the morning. All transport should take extra caution. The rather strong high-pressure system over upper Laos and Vietnam will reach the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand by 7 December. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely following with colder conditions and strong winds. The North and the Northeast will see decreasing temperatures by 2-4 C while the Central and the East regions will see decreasing temperatures by 1-2 C. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf will intensify with isolated heavy rain over the South.
