General Situation The high-pressure system covers the North, the Northeast of Thailand and the South china Sea with cool condition covering the North and the Northeast regions. There remain isolated rains likely in the upper half of the country. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand with continuous rainfall and heavy rain likely some of the South. People should beware of the flash flood and the forest runoff.
From 11-16 December, another moderate high-pressure system from China will cover upper Thailand. Decreasing temperatures will come with strong winds over the area while the northeast monsoon across the Gulf will intensify.

Surat Thani northward: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
