During 12-16 Dec, rather strong high pressure area from China will extend to the upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Colder conditions with strong winds will occur in the upper Thailand. In the North and the Northeast, temperature will drop 2-5 C. Whereas, the central, the East including Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity temperature will drop 1-3 C. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf will intensify with isolated heavy rain over the South. During 17-18 Dec, rather strong high pressure covers the upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. Increasing temperature 1-3 C. The strong northeast monsoon remains prevail cover the Gulf cause the South is continue rain and isolated heavy rain.
Warning
During 12-18 Dec, people over upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the decrease of temperature. People in the South should beware of the severe weather conditions that cause a possible flash flood. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and during 15-18 Dec, small boat keep ashore.
