During 13-17 Dec, rather strong high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Colder conditions with strong winds occur in the upper Thailand. In the North and the Northeast, temperature will drop 2-7 C. Whereas, the central, the East including Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity temperature will drop 1-3 C. The strengthening northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand, the South, and the Andaman Sea. Isolated heavy rain over the South. Rough sea in the Gulf gets 2-3 meters and the Andaman Sea is expected about 2 meters high of waves. During 18-19 Dec, the rather strong high pressure area that covers the upper Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken. Increasing temperature 1-3 C. The strong northeast monsoon remains prevail cover the Gulf and the South cause the South is continue rain and isolated heavy rain.
Warning
During 13-19 Dec, people over upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the decrease of temperature. People in the South should beware of the severe weather conditions that cause a possible flash flood. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and during 13-17 Dec, small boat keep ashore.
